I am passionate about teaching and music - so I decided to become a music teacher! My primary instrument is violin, but I teach viola, as well. I recently graduated with my Master's degr.ee in Music Education and have been teaching violin and viola lessons for several years.
I graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in the spring of 2023, receiving my Master's in Music Education. I previously graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2019, with my Bachelor of Arts in Music and Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. I have also completed Suzuki training for books 1,2,3 and 4 through the American Suzuki Institute in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. My primary teachers were Rudy Perrault and UMD and Pat D'Ercole and Allen Lieb through the American Suzuki Institute.
I previously taught lessons through the UMD Fine Arts Academy, itasca Orchestra and Strings Program in Grand Rapids, MN ad Crescendo Youth Orchestra in Hibbing, MN. I have performed with the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra, UMD Symphony and Chamber Orchestras, Chequamegon Symphony orchestra, Mesa Symphony Orchestra and Trampled by Turltes as well as various other music events.
When I'm not performing or teaching, you can still find me hanging out with kids! My faith in Jesus is a huge part of my life and I love being involved with the youth ministry at my church, leading Bible studies
